Notice under the Act on Specified Commercial Transactions

1. Seller

The name of our representative and our address are disclosed without delay on request. Please ask by email at the address above, or through the contact form on this site.

2. Products and prices

What is sold are the “tokens” used inside the “Fumenru” app. Tokens can be used only for reading photographed sheet music. Playback, viewing, editing, saving and exporting do not use tokens.

What is on sale, and at what price (tax included), is shown on the purchase screen in the app. Please check the amount there before you buy. The products on offer, the number of tokens each contains, and the prices are all subject to change. Prices are set for the Japanese storefronts; outside Japan, each store shows its own local-currency price.

How many tokens a single reading costs is likewise shown in the app before the reading starts.

Tokens issued by purchase are a prepaid payment instrument for own-business use under Japan’s Payment Services Act. The disclosure required by that Act is set out in the Terms of Use.

3. Costs other than the price

Communication charges incurred in using the Service and in making a purchase are borne by the user. The Company charges nothing further.

4. Payment method and timing

Purchases are made through in-app purchase on the App Store or Google Play. The Company does not receive payment directly; each store handles the transaction.

• Payment method: the payment method registered with the store.
• Payment timing: on completion of the purchase in the store. When you are actually billed follows the rules of that store.

5. Delivery

After the purchase completes, the Company’s servers verify it with the store and the tokens are added to your balance in the app immediately. If the connection delays that, the tokens are received automatically the next time the app is opened.

6. Returns and cancellations

Tokens are digital content. Once delivery is complete (the balance has been credited), the Company cannot accept a return, exchange or cancellation.

• Refunds follow the rules of the App Store or Google Play. Please make any request to the store. The Company cannot issue refunds directly.
• If a store grants you a refund, the Company withdraws the tokens issued by that purchase from your balance. If they have already been spent, the balance of purchased tokens goes negative and is offset against your next purchase. Tokens given free of charge are not withdrawn.
• If a reading fails, the Company may return the tokens deducted for it, as it determines (see the Terms of Use). This is a return to your token balance, not a refund of a purchase.

7. System requirements

iOS / iPadOS and Android smartphones and tablets. For the supported versions, see the listing in each store. Reading sheet music and saving scores require a free account and an internet connection.

8. Other terms of sale

• Tokens are a consumable product and cannot be restored through a purchase restore.
• Purchased tokens do not expire.
• Tokens can be used only within the Service. They cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred to another person, or reissued.
• Deleting your account forfeits all unused tokens, including those you purchased. No refund is made.
• Minors should purchase with the consent of a parent or guardian.
